CREEPYPASTA. [Stephen King and other horror novelists write some pretty intense stuff like, but not limited to: murder, suicide, assisted suicide, possession by evil forces, oxygen deprivation, hallucinations, drug addiction and alcoholism, cannibalism, child endangerment/death, abusive parents, biological warfare, pandemics, clowns and other phobias, graphic violence, eldritch horror, psychological trauma, zombies, monsters, finger/limb loss. We understand that this is not for everyone, but we want to make sure that you as a player understand that this is a Stephen King inspired game with the potential for horror themes to crop up during the course of game plots due to the game environment. All we ask is that you put any and all topics of triggering content behind a cut with a warning to label these so people can avoid them if they'd like. If you are okay with this, remove everything between the [brackets] after "Creepypasta:" and write: "I understand." Thank you.]
Personality
Our preference is for a longer and more expanded personality section than history. Who they are as people is vital. Some of the world's will be really harsh and scary. Required length is 400+ words that includes strengths, weaknesses, flaws, quirks, and any disorders they might have. This is your chance to tell us how they react to stress, the type of people they're drawn to and for what reason. We want to know if they chose flight over fight or vice versa. We want to know if they will stick their head in the sand, bite their nails from the sidelines, or join the fray. Give us a whole person here. We highly recommend this page for added support: http://rpg.ashami.com/
Be warned that certain topics: Rape and sexual assault, hate crimes, drug & alcohol abuse, self-inflicted injuries/self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, PTSD, domestic abuse, child abuse, incest, serious diseases (like cancer), miscarriage & abortion (and other pregnancy or neonatal health issues) need to have a WARNING in bold prefacing it, and will need to be expanded on greatly. We don't take "He has PTSD from his time in the war" as the only thing you can say about it. You will need to explain how it manifests, what helps them cope, if he will seek help. Many characters in their canon suffer from a lot of those various topics so we're not trying to limit you from playing them, we just want to know that you're going to be treating them with respect and not using them for cheap drama in game. That's the fastest way to trigger other people, and you will be asked to reign it in.
FYI, you'll want to use a paragraph tag in this app!
History
Can be bullet-pointed, paragraph, or a link to a descriptive Wikipedia (if you're unsure if your wiki link is enough information, email the moderator), but we reserve the right to ask for more if we don't understand something. Our preference is always for a longer and more expanded personality section, but we'd like you to touch on their history at least in some fashion. If you go for history, please make this at least 400 words.
If you chose to do the WIKI link, please choose at least one from the following questions to answer. All of them need to be at least 400 words.
▸ If your character is from another game, a link to the Wiki, and then include their in-game history. This must be at least 400 words.
▸ Go into detail about ONE REGRET you've had in your lifetime as well as ONE MOMENT OF PRIDE. Please go into detail, and include the standard who/what/where/when/whys of each situation. This must be at least 400 words.
▸ FIVE HEADCANONS. These are not things from canon, but your own headcanon for the character. You can use examples from canon to back up the headcanons. Alternatively you can add more headcanons to get you to the 400 words.
▸ Write the history that is not given in canon. (IE, the time between Star Wars: A New Hope and Star Wars: Empire Strikes back kind of thing. Or someone's early life until the canon begins. If you are bringing a character from another game, use this space to fill us in on the goings on from the game you were in) This must be at least 400 words.
▸ Go to www.tvtropes.org, pick 5 Tropes that fit your character and explain why they do. This must be at least 400 words.
Feel free to do multiple memes.
GAME ENTRY. A description of how your character came upon the mist to end up in game. It can be a one sentence description like, "Billy Bob drove into a fog and ended up in Dunwich," or it can be a detailed paragraph of how an eldritch terror came into your world and your character fought them off, only to get pulled through, covered in monster guts, in a new universe. Have fun with this!
SECRETS & FEARS
Due to the nature of this game, we would like to know if your character has any secrets and fears. They have to. Everyone does, right? Muhahaha. So let us know any deep dark secrets - these can be canon or headcanon - and if they have any irrational (or rational) fears. Please explain in detail how they are affected by this. Could even explain why if you want. Must be at least 100 words.
Feel free to use the code below if you wanna break it up instead of writing out simple paragraphs.
SECRET NAME.
Explanation of the secret here. Is it canon? Headcanon? Fun! This is just an example of an option you can use in this section. Create as many fields as you like, delete what you don't need.

A COMPLICATION.
Maybe it's not a fear or secret precisely, but is something not covered in the personality you want to call out to see if it can be of use for plotting. Add that here! Again, this is just an example of an option you can use in this section. Create as many fields as you like, delete what you don't need.
